Fabrics & accessories required to make the bag

  • OUTER FABRIC - 4 x fat quarters in different patterns (these can also be used for the lining )
  • LINING - if you are using just one colour for the lining you will need 1⁄2 a metre.
  • At least 56 inches of cotton or acrylic webbing tape for the handles.
  • Half a metre of cotton woven fusible interfacing for the outside of the bag. If the bag is to be reversible then you will need a metre so you can interface the inside as well
  • Co-ordinating thread
  • Size 80 or a jeans needle, as there as some thick layers. - Hand Sewing needle
